Social Services
Social Services Package (SSP):
A larger percentage of the coop membership shares the predicament of not able to access a modest medical service. One reason is cost.

The possibility of loans availed by a member converted into buying medicine or paying laboratory for his/ her illness.

Which would leave the member short handed of loan amount intended productively. For the best interest of the entire coop membership.

The Social Services Packages of CPMPC is designed to answer the individual medical needs at its most affordable cost. For years this has delighted general membership.

The Social Services Package is CPMPC’s additional service to its members covering medical consultation, medicine refund, optical services, dental services, mortuary aid and accidental death insurance. There are five (5) packages available for members.

Benefits:
  • Free Medical Consultation including beneficiaries
  • Medicine & Laboratory Refund
  • Free optical consultation & eyeglasses
  • Unlimited tooth extraction and temporary filling, once a year cleaning and permanent filling, 20% discount for other services.
  • Mortuary Assistance
  • Additional Death Assistance due to accident
Cooperative Scholarship Program (CSP):
The CPMPC Cooperative Scholarship Program (CSP) is handled by the Children and Youth Committee. It is a service offered to successor generation, who are associate members of the cooperative. The program is governed by the Cooperative Scholarship Committee chaired by the Director of the Children and Youth Committee, together with the General Manager as Vice- Chairperson, and three (3) members composed of the Directors of the Credit and Finance, Education and Social Services Committees. The General Policies and Implementing Guidelines (GPIG) of the CSP are amended every school year. All graduates under this program are expected to render services/ work at CPMPC for at least two (2) years.

Housing Services:
This service is under the Social Services Committee. A major recommendation is to have a point person to handle the project considering the extent of requirements that the service entails.
